I wasn’t going to leave a review, but because I have been repeatedly asked to I will. The spokes are great, but after I broke two with a large stick stuck in my wheel that also tore apart my derailleur, I went to the website to find replacements. I looked at the chart that told me exactly what length i needed for my Berd rims and I9 hubs, I ordered them. I waited 2 weeks for them to arrive and installed them only to find that they were far too long.
So I measured according to their instructions and found that I needed spokes several millimeters shorter. So I ordered them, waited two weeks, and installed them only to find they were STILL too long, so I guesstimated just how much shorter I needed and bought 3 more in different lengths to try to account for missing the mark, and I got really close, but they were all still slightly too long. So I said screw it and I’m now riding around with a couple of spikes that aren’t quite tight enough because I’m tired of spending the money when it should have been right the first time based on their chart.
I wasn’t a believer but after working on a wheel for one of my clients I was intrigued and now sold. Definitely unique in the wheel building arena but in a good way! After building out my first wheel, my client took it to a first plan AG win , 4th overall in the Oregon Coast Gravel Epic. These spokes rock.
